STARDUST - This Summer A Star Falls. The Chase Begins.

I love love love this movie.

It was beyond cute.

I love the book as well, and I know usually book-adaptations suck and it did stray from the book at times but I still think it kept with it enough that it came out amazing, if that made any sense xD

I loved this movie :thud: I actually didn't know much about it but the fact that Michelle Pfeiffer was gonna be in it made me wanna see it ;) So I watched it and WOW, didn't regret it for a second!! what a masterpiece :thud:

I saw Stardust awhile back, and it was great! I thought it would be cute but I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. It's on my list of DVDs to buy. :) I loved how Yvaine glowed, and I loved her and Tristan. The pirates and the dead princes were so much fun.

I got a job at a food store, bagging and bringing in carts from the parking lot. Now that's a work out, I haven't been so physically tired since working down in New Orleans. I'm also looking for another job, so I will probably barely have time to sleep.

I loved Michelle in Hairspray, the one scene where she is singing Miss Baltimore or something like that. She was so evil, that I was surprised that she didn't have horns. But it was a really good performance because when you see her in interveiws she comes across as genuinly nice person.

I really love the quote about love. Although I still think that Claire Danes was miscast. She's trying too hard with the fake accent.

I love this film. It's simplicity is so alluring... I want to watch it again.

 So I read this page someone posts on and they had posted the differences between the movie and the book: Capt. Shakespeare isnt in the book! I KNEW IT! I love him in the movie though. Prolly my fave character!

That's all you can for when your fave book is made into a movie. Plus, this movie was well casted and really nicely directed and acted. I hope most fans were happy with it.

What do you do? I have gotten a summer job during the days to get a little extra money. I work at the mall. I get so tired and exhausted too, but it all pays off when I go to the movies. :)

I prefer Michelle in Hairspray. She seemed more villianous there because she did a lot of evil things to get what she wanted, trying to seduce Wilbur, switching the tallies, etc. She kinda scared me a little in Stardust when she turned old and yucky, and she just wanted her youth. But hmm...:sigh:

Good for you, I am taking a break from school. But I just started a job that tired me out, so the days I'm not working I try to have as much as I can too.

So since you've seen Michelle performance in both Hairspray and Stardust. Which performance did you like best? Which one was she the better villian in?

Hope these show up :)

I loved this movie too..I think I'm going to buy it actually. :D Charlie Cox is adorable

That song is awsome! I went to see a Take That concert in Barcelona last weekend and it was an amazing performance.

I'm going to see the movie this weekend, can't wait to see Michelle again!!!

BTW, there's a Michelle thread at Female Celebs board: http://www.fanforum.com/f25/tribute-michelle-pfeffier-cause-she-back-badder-then-ever-62808963/

Oh me too...when they stick pretty close to the general idea of the book, that's when I really like the movies!

I loved all of their commentary! I'd watch it just for them, but I don't need to because it's all made of awesome! :D

yup. i'm almost going back to school again :( and I'm trying to have as much fun as i can. :)
