Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith - The Saga is Complete

That scene in the context of the film is very true. Love does blind Anakin. I can kind of get over the lines based on that.

I finally saw Revenge of the Sith today. I loved it. It was so incredibly awesome. Definately the best out of the three. It was just action packed from beginning to end. It was intense and sad as well. Hayden and Ewan both did an amazing job. The visual effects were so great.

I could barely keep myself from crying. Tears started welling up when all the Jedi's were being slaughtere and I just about lost it at the end. It was awful when Ani, or should I say Vadar, got his legs and arm cut off and then caught on fire. It must have been so hard for Obi to turn and walk away from him. It was also sad when Padame died, but it was expected. It was just one of those things that was obviously going to happen but was still shocking to see.

The movie connected very well to Episode 4 and it answered all the questions I had from the other movies. It was just so well done. I don't even know what else to say about it. I really want to see it again but I don't know when I will have the time.

The Anakin/Obi-wan battle was amazing. :thud: I don't think I blinked the whole time LOL. All of the light saber battles were awesome.

Hayden did such a great job as Anakin!!

I loved how R2 kicked some ass in the beginning of the film! And when Yoda used his powers to slam the two guards up against the wall when he walked into the room, the whole theater cheered

The Anakin/Padme story was so heartbreaking. :(

I saw the movie yesterday and I loved it. My friend who saw it on the premiere told me that I could expect to feel mad, angry, sad and completly pissed off.

She was right.

There were moments in the movie when I got all: What? Evil little twit

And I'm not talking about Anakin.

Oh and I loved the begining. With the whole Obi-Wan and Anaking bickering. They were just so cute togther.

My GOD!

Just saw it and WOW!

SO VERY GOOD.

Heartbreakingly sad, yet hopeful all at once (and hey, we all know the saga has a happy ending, right?)

My friends and I were all going: NO ANAKIN! DON'T GO EVIL! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Haha, but we all knew how it ends!

I don't know if I can wait any longer. This movie looks really awesome, better than the first two. I keep seeing all these previews for it. It is being released here on the 19th, which is less than a week away. It is going to be literally impossible to get near the theater when it comes out though. The theaters in my town aren't very big and the tickets sell out quick. They are doing a midnight showing of it before it opens, but I doubt I will be able to make it to that. It would be too hard to get a babysitter. So hopefully I can atleast see it within the first week it is released.

The other two were really good. Attack of the Clones was good but it had some boring parts. Phantom Menace was really cool. I love the pod racing. The little boy who played Anakin was so adorable.

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the creation of Darth Vadar. He is my favorite character.

I have to admit I am not really a SW fan, and only got into the movies with Episode II due to Hayden, lol.

Dude this movie was awesome! My favorite part was the ending and when Anakin and Obi-wan fought, it was just amazing!

The thing is though is that Episode I and II were so baddly recieved by not just critics, but long time fans as well that even if Episode III sucks... Which, thankfully, feedback from advanced screenings says that it does not... It would still make money if for the fact fans (and non-SW fans) would go to see just how bad it was just to gloat and or see it for themselves. Luckily, this supposedly won't be the case, but GL has to know that this one is going to be the most scrutinized of all the prequels simply because I and II set such a low mark (standard) that everyone is putting their expectations on this one to be better, right or wrong.

The sad fact is movies are now more about getting people into the theater even if the movie itself doesn't warrant it. Case in point: House of Wax. I haven't seen the movie, but a good portion of fans are going to see it just to watch Paris Hilton die more than because they are horror fans. The same is going to be true with Mr. and Mrs. Smith in regard to the gossip surrounding Angelina Jolie being the real reason for Brad Pitt's breakup with Jennifer Aniston. And in the long run, it doesn't matter because a ticket bought is a ticket bought and studios and the MPTAA (Motion Picture Theater Owners Association of America) could care less for the motives behind the public's wanting to see this movie over that.

I bring this phenomena up because A) It is becoming more common these days since a lot of the movies coming out aren't that great and B) it applies to the first SW prequels because they were so baddly recieved and this has put Episode III in the very position we're talking about seeing a movie based on its own merits vs. the hype surrounding the film and not the film itself.

Also, I believe that I and II are just bad movies. I think they are shallow, uninteresting and bascially one big CGI fest after another with very little story to either of them. In turn, I don't like it when directors like GL or the Warchowski Brothers (Matrix) say you have to look at all three movies as a whole. That is a cop-out in my opinion because it means they really don't have the talent to produce good, stand alone stories that are supposed to be able to stand on their own (pun intended) because this is what movies used to be about, but because of the trilogy aspect a lot of directors and producers are taking this as the easy way out when a movie that is part of a trilogy or series doesn't do as well as they initially predicted.

Haha, this woman has no idea what Star Wars is apparently. She must have never watched ESB   at her.

I just saw it last night, had to drive an hour to the next town to see it since it didnt come here, but it was worth it! It was so good, defiently the best out of the three, in my opinion. I loved..I just loved it all! If it was playing here I would go see it again. Hayden did an awesome job in it in my opinion.

Ugh! The theater I work at had an employee screening tonight at 6, of course they didn't ANNOUNCE IT. Ugh, friggin' IDIOTS! I had to work the midnight show and some crazies showed up, dressed up and everything. I hope to see it soon -- looks to be a good movie.

I can't wait for this movie I'm a huge star wars fan aready got my tickets for next weekend!

I just saw it tonight, and I loved it. Totally blows Episodes I and II out of the water, and frankly, it's got all the punches: emotional, action-packed, romantic, tragic, everything. I was really impressed with the writing, actually, except for a few clunky lines. The acting was brilliant.

I loved Hayden and Natalie, they were amazing, especially when Padme was telling Anakin that she was pregnant. The look on his face was awesome, so lovely. :glow:

Ewan McGregor was brilliant. I loved "You were the chosen one!" and his tenderness to Padme during the birthing scene.

The last shot, with Owen and Beru and the swell of the John Williams score was beautiful.

Really, no words do it justice right now for me. I really want to go watch A New Hope.
