Spiderman: Reboot - Zac Efron

And Robert Pattison would play a great Harry!

The strength of Spiderman to Spiderman 3 was not only great CGI, but expert Direction from Sam Raimi and actual acting talent in Toby McGuire, Kirsten Dunst, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina etc.

To replace that with a pin-up boy from a Disney musical franchise would be a disaster of "Batman and Robin" proportions...

...good movies need good actors, dirctors and scripts

I assume this was for me? Zac maybe good box office and good in what he does - but to call him a good actor who can carry Peter Parker is missing the entire Toby McGuire era...it's probably because TM is such a good actor that you never even considered he was acting when you saw the movies.

Zac Efron for Spiderman? no I dont think so, good looking lad and an alright actor....I think the likes of Joseph Gordon Levitt (500 days of summer), Michael Cera, Shia La Beouf would be better choices....Peter Parker is a bit nerdy, smart and these guys would fit that character better....Efron would ultimately pull in huge box office numbers with the teen girls flocking to see him....xo

It would be OK having him as Peter Parker I think. They should go for someone different to Tobey Maguire, even though Peter is supposed to be 'geeky' (the comics never show him as wimpy as Tobey though!).

Personally I would rather see a Back To The Future film with Zac Efron as Marty and Jim Carrey as Doc Brown!

I am not a huge fan of the whole Reboot Idea. Its only been Eight Years since the first film and Three years since the last one.

It just seems too soon to have it start all over again.

But if Zac Efron was to star in the film it would not be a reboot merely the death of the films in my opinion (emo parker = evil parker of the third film was close to the death nail of the franchise) and to put Pattison in instead of James Franco it would be like they were catering for the teeny bopper girls than the true marvel fans.
