M mikehulk Guest Nov 7, 2009 #2 klx is a good bike, it is detuned and less powerful than the KX models. Let him learn on this bike and as he gets more experience you can always sell and upgrade to the KX125.... 60mph is pushing it on this bike.....the KX will exceed 60!!!
