Does anyone ever space out? Like when driving? Which happens to be in my case.
I was driving again today and kind of spaced out and forgot I was driving for a second. My husband was in the passengers seat and asked why I was acting so weird. I was waiting on a turn in the intersection for it to clear so I could turn and it turned yellow so I looked back to make sure I had enough room and started to back up to wait my turn for the green light. I was lost in though and didn't realize the light had turned green and it was my turn to go. He asked me are you ok, you're acting weird, I said I'm not and kind of snapped back out of it and went on.
I can be driving and not even remember half of the trip once I get there.
It doesn't happen very often but when it does it feels like I am in a daydream state for a minute. It is unnerving and kind of scary. What causes this?
Is it caused by stress? I've been under a lot of stress lately.
