SOUTH PARK EPISODE 167 TALKBACK

SYNOPSIS: "When the boys steal the list that rates cutest to ugliest from the girls, they aren't really prepared to deal with the results. The boys are about to discover how manipulative and psychotic little girls can be."

NOTE ONE: The First episode to feature the girls specifically since season 9's "Majorne".

NOTE TWO: As mentioned, this is the 167th episode. This puts South Park as the first orignial American animated Cable show (as in not an acquistion like say an anime) to past the Flintstones 166 episode mark. This means South Park is the third longest animated show at this point, behind King Of The Hill (#2) and the Simpsons (#1). Which I think is pretty congrats worthy.

Well that's it. Enjoy the last Season 11 ep everyone and see you next year for season 12!

What about the original TMNT series? It's not primetime, but it did go for 193 episodes over it's original run.

Let's hope the season goes out on a good note.

This episode was really funny....I loved...

Cartman taunting Kyle since he was ranked just above him

Butters being relieved about being number 11 (since his parents won't ground him if he's not the ugliest boy)...and wearing a shirt with "11" on it for the rest of the episode...

References to early South Park episodes....Kenny being killed in some random/unusual way,and Stan puking on Wendy....

Absolutely outstanding. This season was amazing and surprising and hilarious. Not only that, but it was full of variety as well. Every episode had something memorable and different.

The episode? Loved it. Stan and Kyle have another solid episode under their belts. Wendy's back (about time, too) in a solid role. And Kenny? Great return (at least I hope he's back in the main four after this episode). Finally, there are characters that got the dust blown off of them and are put back into the spotlights. About. Time.

Classic. Just, classic. Great way to end the season.

A+

I got such a great feeling seeing Stan throw up on Wendy. When you look at how far the animation has come since the first time we saw that happen, it really takes you back. I still remember talking about the first episode of Season One in Journalism class back in 8th grade.

Watching Stan and Wendy during that last scene really brought a lot of that back.

I have to agree. Season 11 was perfect, and these guys don't show even an inkling notion of slowing down anytime soon. If Seth McFarlane and FOX split ways, we're gonna need it what with DT's final episode airing tonight. Thank God for Boondocks....

Probably the best episode of the season. It used the characters as more than just props in some high-concept parody, and just let them carry the episode. I'm not sure what else to say about it; it just worked.

I don't think they were in the same class, hence not on the same list.

I've come back from the depths of Hell just to give the episode batch rankings of SP.

1. The List
2. ImaginationLand Trilogy
3. Guitar Queer-o
4. More Crap
5. Le Petite Tourette

Reminded me of older season 5/6 stuff, definitely a great season ender and one of the best of the season.

That Kenny death had me on the floor as well as Kyle's "Is she going to shoot us?" Classic South Park.

Season 12 can't come soon enough.

Half season rankings:

1. ImaginationLand 3
2. ImaginationLand 2
3. The List
4. Le Petite Tourette
5. ImaginationLand 1
6. Guitar Queer-o
7. More Crap

As long as we're all doing -- ahem -- lists, I'll go ahead and do mine.

01. The List
02. The Snuke
03. Imaginationland trilogy (though III would be in this spot if I were doing them individually)
04. With Apologies To Jesse Jackson
05. Cartman Sucks
06. Fantastic Easter Special
07. Le Petit Tourette
08. Night of the Living Homeless
09. More Crap
10. Lice Capades
11. Guitar Queer-O
12. D-Yikes

EDIT: Forgot about Lice Capades.

We're doing lists? Here's mine (best on top to worst on bottom):

The List

More Crap
Imaginationland I
Lice Capades
Night of the Living Homeless
Guitar Queer-O
Imaginationland II
Imaginationland III
Cartman Sucks

I don't remember what grades I gave each of these, but this reflects my opinion now based on how they have held up to me.
