South Park: Season 12 to start in March

Seeing as that Matt and Trey have done something big or controversial for the last few years for a season premiere ("Good Times with Weapons", "The Return of Chef", "With Apologies to Jesse Jackson"), I'm expecting it to probably be on the strike. They can't avoid it, but they also might play the Britney Spears card. Either way, the strike is the most controversial way to go and will guarantee both ratings and an explanation article on CNN on why South Park is able to comment on the strike ("they're non-union, people! Now leave us alone!")...

I don't know, they could do a story on the strike, but that'd be far too obvious. Trey and Matt usually pick something out of the headlines that no one expects. Besides, by the time March gets here, the strike will probably be over.

It depends on what's happening in the world at the time they're writing the episode. Maybe they'll do an episode spoofing 'Cloverfield' for all we know.
