South Park "Dances With Smurfs" Talkback

If any of you have not heard of Avatar yet, go check out its trailer and you will realize its connection to this episode's storyline with the smurfs. And, you will witness the trailer for a revolutionary special effects film, but that is something else.

Every side has it's psychos, and South Park won't hesitate to mock all of them, even those on the creators' side.

Of course, Beck wasn't that much of a psycho till Obama came; then he flipped his lid. Cartman, on the other hand...yeah, this is nothing unusual for him (though bringing the Smurfs into this was just plain weird, even for Cartman.)

It's already been done. Google the phrase "Did Glenn Beck Rape And Murder A Young Girl In 1990?" I'm not saying he did. I'm just asking why he's never denied it. I personally believe that if you AREN'T a child-murdering pedophile you should at least be willing to release a public statement to that effect. It would be irresponsible not to speculate otherwise.

Granted the web bomb is nowhere NEAR as clever as what Wendy pulled but her plan only worked so well because she was the actual president. I don't want Obama within 500 yards of either Beck or his looney followers.

Trey Parker just took a whiz on over half of his fanbase. It's about time. Loved it.

Edit: And he did it without ONCE violating Libertarian principles. I'm pretty sure Parker is as tired of Beck claiming he's a Libertarian as I am. Beck is to Liberatarianism what John Wilkes Booth is to theater.

No, I wouldn't want Glenn Beck anywhere NEAR the presidency. That's why the Google Bomb is pretty much the best the left has been able to do. It's been very effective at mocking the moron, not so much in getting him to cut that garbage out.

Did you hear Glenn Beck Raped And Murdered A Young Girl In 1990? Why won't he deny it? He wouldn't be afraid to discuss the issue if he had nothing to hide.

Awesome/hilarious episode with another Eric Vs. Wendy part which Cartman should learn not to mess with Wendy, hehehe, along with the Smurfs parody,

The highlights:
Funny with Eric being the villain to rip on Wendy again along with Wendy owning him at the end which is gonna be sweet.
So hilarious with poor Gordon Stoltski threatened by the shooter & then got shot dead, R.I.P. Gordon Stoltski, you'll be missed.
The new kids, Mike & that Casey Kasem kid named Casey Miller are so creepy & hilarious next to Gordon Stoltski/Scott the diabetes kid, hahahahaha:p:D.
Eric bees the new announcer while being Power Mad on bashing Wendy, always beware of a Power Mad Eric Cartman, hehehe.
Eric's video copying FOX News, nice.
Eric mentioning Wendy killing the Smurfs, poor Wendy.
Poor Butters to be easily manipulated by Cartman again.
Yikes, it's President Cartman like President Lex Luthor, hehehehe, & he's selling books on bashing poor Wendy, he's gone too far again.
Wendy called Cartman, Eric Fartman, nice one!!!!!
Cartman's Dances With Smurfs video on meeting the Smurfs & being a Smurf, hahahahaha, so weird & random.
Eric falling in love with Smurfette, hehehe.
Eric dressed as Wendy to kill Smurfs is so disturbingly hilarious, hahahahaha, Wendy is so gonna get him now.
Casey's line on bashing Wendy while joining Butters' group was so hilarious, hahahahahaha:p:D!!!!!
Butters peeing on Wendy's doorstep while he's running, hahahahaha, so gross & hilarious.
Cartman being Glenn Beck, hahahahaha, nice with Trey & Matt to bash on that sick psychopath.
Wendy totally OWNED Cartman by turning things around at the end by saying that his idea is used in Avatar, go Wendy:D!!!!!
I love the Avatar joke which I wanna see the awesome CGI movie.
Casey bees the new announcer on bashing Cartman was so hilarious, hahahahaha, Cartman totally deserved it on messing with Wendy!!!!!!

At least the Casey Kasem like kid named Casey Miller didn't go into a 1985 AT40 Long Distance Dedication "Dead Dog" rant (remember it? Too bad Casey Kasem retired from radio and his AT10/AT20 AC shows this past Summer, now all we have is AT40 with Ryan "American Idol" Seacrest which might be the worse since the 1988-1994 Shadoe Stevens AT40 years!). I wonder if Casey Miller will be an occassional South Park regular even next season if Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Butters, Jimmy, Timmy, Token and the rest too undecided to mention of the other South Park kids become friends with him.

With 1 more Season 13 South Park episode to come next week, will it be the episode dealing with H1N1/swine flu like I wish they did?

This was a fantastic episode. I've never even seen Glenn Beck's show (it's a can of worms I'd rather ignore), but punditry is a universal constant. Most of the episode was spent harping on that one idea, but that one idea happens to be a goldmine of comedy. (Just ask Stephen Colbert.) And instead of making an essentially one-joke episode, they threw everything they could think of into this one, and the end result was classic. From high-minded social satire to the simple pleasure of seeing Cartman run around screeching about people sucking something or other, it was everything South Park has to offer.

That was quite an original take on their 'commentary' formula. I'm glad they switched it up a bit.

Did anyone else think that Cartman's Wendy impression sounded like his old season 1 voice?

I'm unfamiliar with Glenn Beck, but Fox News windbags are all the same. Great episode, and my favorite ending all season.

I heard Cartman's voice when I read that.

I don't think this was a parody of Fox News as much it was just a parody of Beck himself.

This was a fantastic episode, and I find it funny how noone seems to be mentioning that we haven't had one current events related episode this whole second run.

The Casey Kasem kid and the Avatar joke were pretty funny, but as much as I love seeing idiots like Glenn Beck being made fun of, it was still a pretty bleh episode.

This episode was brilliant. I wasn't 100% sure if Cartman was doing a Glenn Beck parody or just a FOX news parody in general but once he pulled out the board with the reference to "Kill Smurfs" that's when I was sure. I loved what went down and Stan's message of anybody can say whatever, just because they have a show doesn't mean it's true. The Dances with Smurfs video was great and Butters' naivete was as usual fun to watch. But really the highlight was the end when Wendy turned Cartman's story on it's end. I was really covering my mouth with surprise as that sequence went on.

It actually took me about 10 seconds to get why the Avatar reference was there. But I got it.

Funny thing is, Glen commented in this episode as a segment on his show (as I have heard) without giving his overall opinion. I think it is about time he gets exposed, he ruined the fox news name, Hannity and Reilly don't go over the top biased like he does.

Yeah, but for every O'Reilly or Hannity, you have the Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, or Michael Moores.

Both sides are just loud, obnoxious extremists.
