Im just saying that a lot of our culture has hindu influences. Because of big bad India with 1 billion hindus there.

i am technically not south asian but i am asian. i would like to change alot!

like at weddings, i used to go but now i dont because they are "segregated" (they really aren't)

also i know alot of afghans that drink alot astaghfurallah. and my dad does shisha and i am trying to tell him to stop.

ALSO...i nearly forgot! The women/girls need to stop being so bitchy!
they are on the phones 24.7 talking about each other!
 
There are certainly parts of South Asian culture that arent islamic
but there are also many islamic things

The solution isnt to become wanabbe Arabsbbi types criticism

Many Wahabbis criticise Asian practices as un islamic because they are ignorant or they think Islam is acting like an Arabs

Arabs culture is deeply unislamic and racist and full of jahilliyah
Arabs in their culture havent left jahlliyah

I'm Pakistani and I don't have a problem with my culture but I do really have a problem when people try to mix Islam with culture. Islam always comes first no matter what.

i agree with you. many muslims follow all the hindu 'rasms' /traditions...@weddings funerals birth


its not only asians who are prone to this. we living in the west are too, birthdays/engagement...
