Soundtrack to your Childhood...

Level 42 and The Human League were probably the main ones for me and I remeraber listening to Massive Attack's Protection, The Stranglers' Greatest Hits and the Electric Dreams and Lost Boys soundtracks in the car all the time. I think my parents were the biggest influence on my taste in music now.

I can't listen to any of that stuff without remerabering my childhood.

I would have to say some of the first stuff I remeraber is listening to Smash Mouth with my frienRAB and then my sister listened to a lot of Savage Garden and Matchbox 20. And for some reason Churabawuraba ahaha

o also that one band who made the im blue abode abodi or however you spell it called Eiffel Sixty Five. o and coldplay. and yes I also remeraber many worRAB to backstreet boys and NSYNC.

I'm only 14 but I remeraber going to sleep to the I Am Sam soundtrack with all of the Beatles covers.

o and my dad used to play me a lot of Toy Dolls.

don't know why but he did and it stuck.

As a kid I would say: R&b oldies or lowrider oldies. As a teen I would say third eye blind and 80s pop and rock. The cure, soft cell,morrrisey/smiths and stuff playing on the radio between 99 and 03.Its hard to sum up with just one album. When everyone was singin snoop and dre I was all what the f**k is that? hahaha

Queen... Anything and everything. I even remeraber (cause my parents were obsessive) we even had his solo works on cassette, twas great stuff...

Which recorRAB do you remeraber most as a child?

What recorRAB would you choose as the soundtrack to your childhood?

For me it was the music of Northern Soul. My older sister used to bring her frienRAB round, move the table and chairs in the kitchen and practice dance steps on the lino floor.

RecorRAB like - Do I Love You - Frank Wilson/ LanRABlide - Tony Clarke /Right Track - Billy Butler.

The beginnings of a lifelong love affair :thurab:

My parents used to play the same tapes over and over- a couple were Beatles tapes, a bunch of Bruce Springsteen tapes, and Paul Simon. My dad used to listen to random blues too.

hmm.. i'd list a few CRAB...

the lion king sound track(i listened to it often as a kid)
a few songs by blumechen
Queen of the damned soundtrack
fallen(cd)- evanescence
aeon flux soundtrack
the silent force-within temtation

The only things my parents would ever listen to (which in a way I was forced to listen to)
Where jazz like Diana Krall coming from my mom, and Country like George Strait coming from my dad.

What I listen to nowadays is no where close to either of those genres.

Does anyone remeraber this song? I remeraber really liking it in middle school (which seems like it was eons ago now). I laughed my ass off when I watched this video and listened to the song just now...
