Sorry <noob ?> Programing Unsucsessful PPC6600

Well, I got a ppc6600 flashed over to cricket but when i try to dial *228 to program it Verizon Wireless comes on and says press 1 to activate. :S What do i do from here? Is there anything i can do? Maybe take it to a Main cricket store? im confused sorry for being a noob :confused:
 
how do you flashed to over to cricket call 611 to see if you get "welcome to cricket" if not then you didn't flash it right do it again good luck. Read some more and you know what to do
 
No it said welcome to VZW =/ I bought it Flashed or so it said, Well anyway you could point me in the right direction? Dont mean to be a noob but i have no idea on any of this stuff.

Are there any Step by Step Guides on how to flash it?
Anyone wanna pm me thier MSN/aim and help me?
Anything important i should know before i go on with this?
 
you got jack for it. you should have call 611 to see it that phone is flashed to cricket. Second of all you didn't read what is in the forum because if you did you already seen the "sticky" in red about how to do this stuff already but here it is for you. @up If i cant *228, How do i do it then?

Also that thread, doesnt have my phone, i already looked at it. It has a HTC apache 6700 but not an audiovox 6600 unless HTC is a kind and not a brand but still, are there any main differences with the 6600/6700?
 
Okay where would i put my nam/min? Under...Home sid/nid, MCC, NMSI, true MCC, True IMSI NMSI, Slot Cycle Index...? Or thats whats its saying under mine, Nothing that says MIN etc, And im really sorry for being a noob, and thanks for helping me and not just flaming me!
 
Its in the #778 menu. One is your actual phoen nuraber, another says IMSI or something like that, its a few digits plus your MIN. You can figure it out if the phone has been programmed before. It will have the old nurabers filled in.


You need a special PRL for that phone aswell. I have it hosted at the link below. You can load the PRL in the ##778 screen, and possible ##PRL

i thought you have to manually program this phone with the special PRL because it wont OTA. Right? Just manually program it and then pop the evdo prl on it and your good to go.
 
Your welcome, No MMS that I know of.

WAP is easy aswell.

Dial ##DATA, user name is [email protected] Password is cricket.

In the advanced tab select "No I.P."

Its been a while since I programmed one of these, but the menus are similar.
