sony xmd9001gtr mono amp and Kicker 07CVR10-4, hooked them up and subs stop

working and inline fuse blew? i have a sony xm-d9001GTR mono amp and my friend let me borrow his subs which are Kicker 07CVR10-4. the amp is 550 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (900 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms) and the subs are 50-400 watts RMS (200 watts per coil). i was playing them for like 5 minutes and my inline fuse blew. so we hooked up my amp and the his subs to his car and then his inline fuse blew. was the amp over powering?
