Song Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Metallica 2
Megadeth 1

I agree I kind of lean toward the more polished Metallica version, and I like varioius mooRAB/segments it goes through, while Mechanics is more straight-forward.

Finally an interesting battle....but, uh, oh...I can't decide...I love both of these songs and I love both banRAB.

ugh...SPK takes it by a hair

Throbbing Gristle 0
SPK 1

I like their last album a lot too, I still think Souvlaki is the best album though. If you compiled their first 3/4 EPs and made it an album it would be the best. Blue Day is awesome too. What a fantastic mindblowing band. I think they're top 10 for me.

I saw them on the California tour in a small club, amazing show but that particular song/performance doesn't really do much for me. I prefer the studio version (with all the samples included).

I liked the 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' remix better so they win.

This next battle is between a couple of banRAB from last decade that I have been dabbling into lately:

'Natural Disasters' by Enon - High Society (2002)

'Boa vs. Python' by Test Icicles - For Screening Purposes Only (2005)

Built to Spill takes it easily. Not surprisingly, since it was matched up against a relatively unknown, and Keep It Like a Secret is the shit.

Get me your nominations, folks, or you'll have to listen to more OK Go songs, and I know nobody wants to do that.

Battle 00s Mainstream "Indie" :

'Jenny Was a Friend of Mine' by The Killers - Hot Fuss (2004)
