I thank you all for your support and input. To those that offered workarounds like, double knots and Velcro; I thank you for your field engineering savvy. However my Point is to express my outrage that we as an industrial and technological society have overcome the issue with "Shoelace auto-disengagement". Why is it then that some shoelaces are still produced to allow them to become Prematurely untied?
I, as a consumer should not have to double knot or switch to Velcro as my only means to avoid tripping on my own shoe laces. That being the case, do I have ample evidence to prove negligence should I sue the manufacturer for injuries sustained in a trip related incident?

u could possibly roll a strip of duct tape arround the tounge and the little arch or the shoe but that still doesnt help with ur outrage huh

nice,

i wore out my pair wearing them through out the winter at school and im too lazy to walk the mile and a half to walmart for another pair

Well, its official, most of the people on this site are very gullible, letting shoelaces ruin everyone's lives. Who gives a shit? Who cares if you fall on your face and break your nose because of an untied shoe? Who cares, no big deal.
