And for the uniformed neither libertarians nor anarcho-capitalists are opposed to government. Many libertarians are minarchists.
What anarcho-capitalists desire, however, is also not 'no government.' We desire a repeal of the Nation-State, the democratic principle, socialism, etc - but we still fully recognize the need for government. We are opposed to a centralized, monopolized governing force. We are not opposed to federalistic, hierarchic, non-monopolist governing forces.
To paint Somalia as any sort of haven for libertarianism, anarcho-capitalism, etc is just silly. We favor a legal code based upon natural rights - Somalia has no such code. We favor non-interventionism abroad and non-interventionism in a region's own internal affairs. Somalia has been consistently interfered with by the CIA, Islamic Courts, and numerous other government agencies from different countries. Somalia is government-bred chaos - it's not anarcho-capitalism or libertarianism.
There are aspects of the markets that certainly however, are intriguing. In many respects, the material possessions of people are better today than they were under their own government. Technology is better and more available. But again, with no legal code in place to protect property and individual rights, it is no example of libertarianism.
