So what animated show will be affected by the writers strike?

Can any one tell me what animated shows will be affected by the writers strike? I mean Nick show, Disney shows, Cartoon Network shows, Fox shows. Only animated, that's all I want to know. We already know what live action shows will be affected by this, but they didn't tell us what animated shows would be affected by this. So if any one could help me with this that would be great, thank you :)

Well, the world has been waiting for a poorly-written episode of South Park where an angst-filled Stan is dating Wendy but can't get Kyle out of his head, while at the sme time Cartman is screwing Butters.

To answer RonDraken17's question, here's the shows directly affected.

Simpsons
American Dad
Family Guy
King Of The Hill.

Pretty much just FOX primetime shows (I think one of the writer's of Out Of Jimmy's Head as well, if you consider that an "animated" show) are affected. And it would only be if the strike lasted would we see any affects they had on the show considering they have episodes for it for months before they need to really start working on more to catch up. And no South Park isn't affected. however SP could actually make an episode about the writer's strike if they wanted. I mean it would have to be the season finale (since this week's episode si already something else) but I'm sure if they did it would be good.

Hey, modern superhero comic book crossovers were *built* on rape and murder! You can't spell "Identity Crisis" without, uh, out-of-character supervillains and ex-wives rapin' and/or killin'.... :-p

-B.
Won't ponder what "perverse sex" is supposed to consist of...

I didn't know that the Fox shows were affected by this lame strike. Does anyone have a link to where I can find the list of animated shows affected by the writers not accepting their way of life to provide quality, or sub-par, entertainment?

By "perverse sex", I'm talking slash, pedophilia, bestiality, incest, what have you.

My point: too many fanfic writers rely on cheap shock tactics such as the main characters getting killed, indulging in taboo sexual practices, falling into a deep, suicidal depression or getting hooked on an illegal substance as a substitute for actual plot and character development. A badifc writers' idea of drama is having a main character die a gruesome death and then have the rest of the cast go insane with grief over it. There are other ways to set up a compelling story besides just cheap, sensationalism and angst. Anyone who needs to resort to shock tactics such as rape, murder and kinky sex to tell a story in a kids' cartoon, then I have to question that persons' ability as a writer. I pity the TV exec who looks to fan fiction as a way around a writers' strike.

I can (kind of) see how you could say that Drawn Together, but how is South Park fanfiction? The characters are original, not part of anyone else's show, and except for the odd cameo, they don't interact with characters from any other show. At least no more than any other animated series.

Because there's no better pick up line than "I never got over my teen crush on your mum." But on the upside, Dumbledore got most of the focus at both HP panels at this year's Yaoicon. We'll probably always have those who write 2 pretty boys/men together and those who seem to miss that Snape probably smells worse than Borat and Draco's most likely inbred.

I wouldn't lump slash automatically with those examples.
