My ex honestly believed that Pope John Paul was the AC. He cited the fact that the Pope spoke several languages as "proof". Just one example among all the other equally retarded observations.

Shocker that the religious right is already finding reasons to hate the left. That hardly ever happens every four years.

Oh yeah sorry man that's what I meant. Her beliefs alone probably aren't enough to get you sole custody.

Nigga, I am getting OLD. Old people can't just drink kegs of beer eat mcdonalds, and expect to be RAVISHING to the ladies or not have to buy a new closet full of clothes every year.

And i just so happen to be a closet homosexual which is what i think you were getting at.

Well we are opposites then. Because I grew up without that influence... and since becoming involved in the church my life has been a million times better. And I thought I was happy before.

Try and be a little objective man he is making a point. The same could be said of almost any group.

I've always wondered if religious fanaticism could be grounds to show mental instability. Like if I went to a judge and said "My wife believes that her, her family, and christians friends are all going to be raptured. They believe that one day they will magically disappear, leaving behind a pile of neatly folded clothes. Then once they're gone, some satanic demigod will come and destroy the earth". Would a judge, assuming they were not christian, accept that as grounds that she is unbalanced? or would she be protected because it's religion?

this is just a stright up lie.

i'm not saying that their aren't christians that are close minded and judgemental. i would say that this isn't something that is taught in the majority of catholic churches. i've seen masses performed by dozens if not hundreds of different priests. none of them delivered the message you claim that they do.
