My wife and I lead a class at our church on sunday mornings, and I am part of a bible study group at my office that gets togther once a week during lunch.
 
Wow you are fucking stupid. Just because you believe in Christ does not mean the OT should be disregarded. It's still considered the word of God, is it not?
 
you can. however, passing judgement on someone for that is stupid, IMO, if their beliefs aren't hurting you or others.

do some old folks at the church talking trash on obama really cause you personal harm?

He has a point though. Why do people follow the NT, but not the OT? Both are supposedly the word of God.
