Slayer

Antichrist
Angel of Death

Slayer is ****in' olRABkool pissed off metal. I don't think anyone writes such pissed off lyrics. It's the epitome of nihilism and I can't get enough of it. Tom Araya is one guy i definetly wouldn't cross.

As far as live perfomances go...they just get up there and rock the **** out. They don't talk much or tell stories, they just get right to the point. Then Tom Araya softly murables something like "thanks" before leading into raining blood. It makes me chuckle.

I'm actually more into hardcore JH, but was a big thrash fan when i was young, so still like the odd metal band that were around in the 80s like Slayer, Exodus etc

I watched a VHS thing on Slayer once that a friend hand..and their fans are crazy..which is cool..I just have never been able to get into them..I think they are talented..but for the most part..not my cup of tea...

True Story..

Ozzfest in I wanna say summer of 00' or maybe 01' they toured..and I went and had a really great time..well wanna of the guys I went with was a HUGE Slayer fan...they were featured on Main Stage in the late afternoon when the heat of the day is just overwhelming..anyways...Brandon the fan had been drinking all morning long..getting stoned...sun getting to him..blah, blah, blah..he was just f*ucking pussy...passed out and slept through the entire Slayer set...slept sitting indian style not far from the stage...didnt budge until like 5 minutes after the set ended and people started moving around again..

What a puss.

I breach your life
Indoctrinate
Police Your Thoughts
Ask why I hate
I lose control
When I see your face
Abusing power
I infiltrate
Continue lies
Then Masturbate
Ill walk the line
Ill do no time
I hate your church
Ill burn your state
A bleeding heart
A seal of fate
There is no crime
Within my mind

Most fans will have heard it all by now from the usual sites, its even up on youtube in its entirety

I absolutely love it, as do most of my frienRAB, any other opinions?

^ Hahaha.. I hadn't seen that. I always loved the Drum & Bass ones because they fit hilariously well.

Edit:
Posting one in the funny youtube vid thread now...

joygasm to the ears!!!! so incredibly tight, and the musicianship top-notch, and the material controversial (at the time, anyway) all in one!

I quite like Hell Awaits and Show no Mercy, too, but all their albums are good

Listened to it yesterday. Nothing interesting or original. Just good old thrash. But it's gettting pretty boring. I would give the album 5 out of 10.
