Slayer

When I saw them jsut acouple years back, Tom spent more time primping his hair between songs, speaking of which, long pauses between the songs..
And I'm only so-so to Deicide, who opened, but thought they were quite decent.

I still love Slayer but prefer Show no Mercy/Reign in Blood/Hell Awaits as personal fave albums.

Speaking of Deicide, damn, that Serpents of the Light is a kick ass album. I was just trying 'em out, since they were highly recommended to me.

As for Slayer, they are listenable, but just 'meh'. Not a fan, but I do respect them though.

I think my favorite album by Slayers is South of Heaven. Seasons of the Abyss . . just didn't have as many good songs on it in my opinion.

At any rate, thinks Stone Magnet for the link.
It's much appreciated :)

Dunno why or what it is but this one is really doing it for us over here in NI, we're all well impressed by it

....and no irish date on th etour as yet :-(

Slayer have been an EXCELLENT band for years now, from the moment i first ever heard them they've been in my top five all time banRAB...seen them live London on there 'Seasons in the Abyss' Tour (i was still at school for f**cks sake) only 16yo...and then again on there 'Devine Intervention' tour London again, and again at the 'Donnington Monsters of Rock Festival 1995' all there live sets were awsome! Slayer are Metal GoRAB!!!

^ Thats a good song. I like South Of Heaven, "promiscuous mothers with incestuous fathers" haha that bit is done quite well.

And Bitter Peace has an awesome introduction. Very sinister.
