OMG! I FLOVE this movie! I remember I watched it for the first time when I was in elementary school and the ending was my most fav. part ever! The moment it showed Jake standing up against his car and "If You Were Here" started playing, I about died!! My heart rate started doing double time every time I watched that scene! :sigh: It really was such a perfect ending...but I too always wanted more! :love:

And I love Long Duck Dong! one of my fav. lines that me and my friends still use to this day, "What's happenin hot stuff?" :lol: Of course, you have to say it with the chinese accent too! ;)

Awesome movie! Good times...good times.

Isnt it? I got it at Hot topic for only 15 dollars, that is my favorite part of the whole movie
 
Oh, ok. I remember seeing some of those as a kid, I really liked what I saw, but I don't remember much.

I love the ending of this movie too. :sigh: I think that's one of the things that I love most about this movie. I mean, who hasn't wished that the guy, or girl, they are totally in love with but think are way out of their league would notice them and want them too? And this movie gives you that with such a perfect ending. I just melt into a puddle of goo when I think about it. :lol:

Ahhh... Thank you for saying that, because in my version it doesn't show him jumping on him, and I always wondered if a scene had been cut because later it shows him with a black eye and you just have to assume that something happened between them after if he was seen in the tree. :D
 
I know! This is why the movie is so great, everything is right, everything feels like it could be you. Jake Ryan is that guy, he'll always be that guy for some teenage girl. :sigh:

First post on these boards so I thought I should start off with my favourite movie! It is so rewatchable I think I'm wearing away my tape.

I think my favourite bit of the movie was when Jake went to Sam’s house to find her but instead found out from Long Duck Dong that she was getting married. I think it’s hysterical how they go through the whole Married? Married. Married? Yes Married. :goof:

Whenever I hear someone questioning whether someone got married that scene rolls into my head. :love: it.
 
or when he's in the tree...and jake walks out and he's all "oh sexy girlfriend.", and jumps on him. it's classic.
