Sistas, do you get educated to get a job or to gain knowledge?

Islam asks you to get educated to gain knowledge as it is very important just as important as getting job, as muslim sisters arent encouraged to get certain jobs anyway, they have to make sure their job has no men in it and they have to make sure they are dressed modestly and yes i am a muslim!
 
I go to school to study [gain knowledge]...so I can get a good job.
But I like learning on my own...more

Formal education will make you a living; self education will make you a fortune.
 
In Islam, it is more important for women to be educated because they control the whole household. They need to be well educated to make good decisions for their families. Islam also encourages women to join certain professions like teachings, nursing, medicine, etc.

Islam says it is not compulsory for women to provide financial support to their families. It is their husband, father's, son's , or brother's job to cover for their expenses. Women's money is women whereas men have to share assets with their children, wife, and parents. If women want to contribute, they can. Nothing wrong with that.

Anyways, I am getting my education because it is like a sin to remain uneducated in my family. You have to get an education no matter what. I am asian. Then I like being knowledgeable. Finally I need to get a job to pass my spare time. I want to be independent as well.
 
@Mein Kampg: What are you trying to say??? If this is an attempt to make Islam seem oppressive towards women well YOU SUCK AT IT!!

Anyways i get educated for a good job and to gain knowledge.:)- i wanna become a vet so i can help animals!
