Single Father - BBC1

I'm glad you said that, because I felt the same. It really wasn't very good. I think I'll have to watch because the OH likes it, but I wouldn't otherwise.

Everybody feels like that after the death of someone close. Hopefully it won't happen to you and everything will go well for your mum. Best wishes for that.

As for Single Father, as I am a big Tennant fan I was looking forward to it, but it didn't engage me as much as I expected, though I thought the acting was good, including the kiRAB.

I thought the whole "what happened the day before" thing was unnecessary and slowed up the story. The characters also seemed a bit stereotypical.

I'll certainly watch it next week, when it seems to be going to be a bit more intriguing.

I thought it was brilliant, and really enjoyed it.

The only problem I found was, the wife was sooooo annoying. I was kinda glad when she died, which I assume was the correct emotion.

I enjoyed it. The most moving part was the daughter who said she was part of no one. The problem is I don't really like Suranne Jones as an actress and I don't like her character (I know it happens and I know it's grief but your best friend's husband and she's barely been dead long!). However I enjoyed the first part and will continue with it :).

I started to watch it but just didn't get into it. I ended up going back to the Catherine Cookson drama on Yesterday channel and didn't know why I ahd bothered even leaving it for Single Father. Won't be doing again.
