Should parents educate their kids about sex?

Do you think that parents should give there kids information about it? Or should they just say things like 'don't do it, it's a sin'

Yes. Because the last thing we need is more parents shoving such a personal responsibility on the school systems because the parents are too afraid to talk to their kids about sex.
It's not a sin to talk about sex. Unles you say:

"Okay Billy, while having sex, think about other gods.Then make a carved image of some sort. Then scream out "FUCK YOU JESUS"! Forget about the sabbath day, and have sex with your mother and father, as it is dishonourful. then kill them. Also, you were'nt married to your parents, so there's another sin. Now stea whatever they're wearing, and go bear false witness against your neighbour, then go covet his wife and donkey."

So, please, talk to your kids about sex, just not like that.

and to correct your first answerer: when it comes to not getting a disease or pregnant.....abstinence always works.

Yes. I get that people might not want their children to engage in sex, but that isn't a good reason not to inform them about it. Sex is something that people NEED to be educated about.

It's irresponsible and bad parenting to keep your kids ignorant about sex when they are at that age when they will be curious and experimenting.
