Should my EV run on 120 or 160 volts?

Hello all, i am converting my old truck to be an EV. I have decided to use 20 batteries, but im not sure if i am going to get the 6 volt or the 8 volt batteries. I am using a nissan truck with a 5 speed transmission for the conversion.

So which will give me a better range, if i use 120 or 160 volts?
