and take Japanese? This question is a follow-up of this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101117034628AAexAeC

Question: Planning to join an US Military Academy, which foreign language class (Japanese or Spanish)?
Details: I have AFJROTC. And I am having doubts on which language class I should take.
I'm interested in Japanese, but I've heard Spanish is easy.
Last year, I thought that I should take Spanish. "Easy way out, huh?"
Now, I am taking Spanish 1; but I am thinking of transferring to Japanese.
(My) Spanish class is very dull and not worth it.
Since, I am interested in Japanese, I'll have more fun.
I'm having doubts though.
Because I don't know which will benefit me more in the US.
There is a possibility that I can transfer to Japanese, but I just want to know...
what should I do? Stay or transfer?

(Don't have to answer the question in the link because I already have a good answer)

So please, I need to know. Should I stay and find a way to learn Japanese (like Rosetta Stone) or transfer and just take Japanese?
I kind of just want to speak Japanese to the exchange students, because I was so frustrated and embarrassed when I couldn't understand anything that my partner said.

The problem is I won't have the full credit for the year.
It will just be 0.5

System for our school is that each semester for a class is a 0.5 credit
So it is 1 credit for each class at the end of the year if I pass and don't transfer.
In the end of high school, I will have 24 credits or more.
There are credits for certain classes that are required for graduation.
And two of those required classes are my foreign language.
I will earn the 0.5 for one semester of Spanish 1.
If I transfer and pass, I will have a 0.5 for Japanese 1.
But I need 1 credit to finish Japanese 1.
So, what do you think I should do?

PS. I'm trying to find out if there is a summer school class for this.
