The reason I mention Bluray instead of DVD is the high definition aspect. I have a 32inch LCD HD Ready TV in my room and have Sky HD with Sky Movies HD, and the quality is fantastic, far better than the cinema. Yeah, the cinema has a much bigger screen, but the quality is far from High Definition. The difference between DVD and Sky HD is massive, so the difference between DVD and Bluray will be too, if not more so.
I usually watch 2-3 movies on the Saturday (approx 10:30, 13:00, 15:00), then another 2 on sunday, depending on the number of new movies out.
Last weekend, i watched Vantage Point, The other boleyn girl, The game plan, and Diary of the dead.
I do tend to watch every new movie that comes out, although there has been the odd one that I decided not to bother with, such as the Bee Movie, The Bank Job and a few others.
This coming weekend my cinema has 4 new movies out (10,000 BC, Horton hears a who, The Cottage, The Spiderwick Chronicles). I have decided to only watch two of them this weekend however.
They are:
The Cottage
The Spiderwick Chronicles
Im not going to watch Horton hears a who because I don't think it is my type of movie. People have been telling me how good 10,000BC looks, but after watching the trailor, it does not give me an idea of what the movie is about, or it's story, it just seems like chaos.
I love romantic/romcom movies, feel good movies, action movies, adventure movies, horror movies, family movies but not really cartoon movies (bee movie)
PS. Is it Movie or Film in the UK, I can never remember
