should i get an alarm?

my car is a 1986 honda civic its a little rusty but i've got an alpine amp and 10 inch sub the whole stereo cost me $1,300 so should i get an alarm for my stereo and i think i,d be funny just to make my car beep like that
 
alarms just anoy people keep it locked and get comprehensive insurance to protect your stereo
