I'm allergic to wheat, dairy, nuts, and rice.
So naturally, I have a limited choice of foods.
I'm official *sick* of chicken.
But then where can I get my source of protein, if not from chicken?
I can't drink milk, so where do I get my calcium?

Should I go back to eating chicken, so I can stay healthy?
I know I have to eat at least six times, but in small portions throughout the day.

What is out there for me to eat that can help me stay healthy?

Eggs are a great source of protein, as are all the other meats, which are healthy in moderation.

As for calcium, a great source is breakfast cereal. Check the box - many are fortified with calcium. You can also try oily fish, especially sardines.

Here is a link that has non-dairy foods that are high in calcium. You may want to check with your doctor and see if you can work with a nutritionist who can help you create a balanced diet.

Surely there are other grains you aren't allergic to? Beans w/ some other grain would give you a complete protein. Are you allergic to white rice? How about brown rice? Even though wild rice isn't technically a "rice", it's actually a grass, maybe you could eat it?

Have you spoken with a nutritionist? An easy way to get calcium/magnesium/vitamin D is a supplement (vitamin pill). I'm sure a nutritionist could tell you foods to eat to get it, also.

Can you eat eggs? I use Egg-beaters (egg whites) because they are so lo-cal & lo-fat. Eggs are a fantastic source of protein.
