Sexiest voices in animation

Troy Baker. Yum yum yum. His picture on ANN is the only visual I have of him but man the VOICE! Hot nurse for girls. ;)

Next on my list would be -believe it or not- Chris Sabat. He's awesome in Samurai 7 even with the cyborg pitch, and he definitely kept me watching DBZ.

So with the above, I guess it's obvious why I like the Trinity Blood anime. :anime:

I agree, the guy's got a great voice. Though I don't find him visually attractive, I do like listening.

Well, he does do recurring voices on a lot of shows (the creepy white cat on Chowder, Ricardio on Adventure Time, Phoebe's dad on Hey Arnold), so he's eligible.

As far as a female goes, Laura Bailey. Why Laura? Well, her voice used for Lust is pretty sexy, and I do find something likable when she does a character with a lot of energy as well, that and it helps that she is good looking in real life. I guess the same can be applied to Grey DeLilsle as well, there's something about the voice that she uses for Azula that's pretty hot.

I'm also casting my vote for Keith David, the fact that I'm a straight male not withstanding. Dude could release an audio book of the Oxford Dictionary and I'd still buy it.

-Celeste Burch as Ryoko in Tenchi muyo.
Burch sounds more "hot" than "Sexy" when she play's Ryoko. Sound tough, but "hot" at the same time.

-Gee Gee Loo Loo as Washu in Tenchi Muyo.
Many fans of the dub Tenchi Muyo series are mix with Loo Loo's Washu, but personally, I like it. It got this Cute and sexy mix to it. But not pushing it. Its not to cute, nor to sexy; but you can tell what's Washu personality. She's strict but fun at the sametime.

-Stephanie Young as Nico Robin in One Piece.
Now, THAT IS A "SEXY" VOICE. Young really know how to play as Robin. MUCH better than what 4kid's dub. I mean, REALLY, a heavy cowgirl accent. Why? Oh, yeah, the hat. Too bad Robin doesn't wear the hat through out the series.

Great question! I was surprised by some of people listed. However, I tend to go for the deeper voiced females but there is a surprise addition to my list:

  • Mary Elizabeth McGlynn;
  • Debi Mae West (Tsuande, anyone?);
  • Kari Wahlgren;
  • Susan Eisenberg;
  • Pamela Adlon (when she's not playing boys);
  • Jennifer Hale (remember her as Sedusa in "Powerpuff Girls"?);
  • Nika Futterman (Ventress is downright sexy);
  • Grey Delisle;
  • Tara Strong;
  • Kathleen Barr;
My surprise addition: Janice Kawaye. Yes, she normally plays genki, high-pitched characters with little sex-appeal but every once in a while she plays these characters that are just so.... Example 1: Ayane in the "Ninja Gaiden" games (and I don't mean the bouncy parts, though they help). Example 2: The Catgirl in "Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo". Her taunting Beast Boy in Japanese was uber-sexy, especially with that girly laugh Janice does so well. Lastly, if you find the YouTube video of "Kim & Kam Jam" from the old "Class of 3000" tv show, her somewhat-jazz vocalizations are surprisingly sexy.

As for male actors, I wish I could imitate...

  • Steve Blum;
  • Keith David;
  • Clancy Brown (especially as the deliciously evil "Lex Luthor");
  • Kevin Conroy;
  • Michael Dorn

I second that. Plus she has more than one voice unlike Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (she was Sherry in Zatch Bell!, remember).

On the male end, there's . . . uh, well . . . Keith David. Again. XD

Keith David has made Dr. Facilier's song "Friends on the Other Side" from Princess and the Frog my favorite Disney villain song. "I got voodoo, I got voodoo, I got things I ain't even tried! And I got friends on the other side" Oooooooh, just gives you chills :cool:

For females, I have to set aside some biases here or else I'd pick someone like Tara Strong or Colleen Clinkenbeard. Out of every voice I've heard, I'd have to go with Claudia Black. Ever hear her as Morrigan in Dragon Age? For sultriness alone that takes the cake.

I usually don't jump on the bandwagon, but for males, no doubt that it's Keith David.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, Wendee Lee, and Denise Poirier (?on Flux).

I really should also put Laura Bailey for her role as FMA's Lust - but I had a hard-enough time just looking away from the pictures, never mind hearing her voice ;)
