Gene Hackman in, well, a lot of movie. I dig the older guys. Al Pacino, my eternal crush.

Viggo Mortensen is wonderful. He's wonderful leading and supporting!
 
I think that Leo is actually a very underrated actor in a lot of circles.

I mean, yes, he can do big blockbusters like "Titanic" and then something smaller like "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?"...

But that's just my point.

He is SO diverse and his performances seem very genuine (not forced) that I think a lot of people don't see his talent because of the fact he actually ACTS and knows his craft.

I also like Leo as a person in that he is from my generation (we're the same age) and he is ferociously comitted to helping others and the environment and puts his money where his mouth is where a lot of times, big celebrities would not.

For example, remember when "The Beach" was finished shooting?

The island was laid waste due to the production... So a few weeks later Leo and his group of eco-volunteers returned and cleaned it up and left it exactly like the way it was when they started filming months before. The studio (20th Century Fox) did NOT pay for that. Leo paid for that with his own money because it was the right thing to do he said.
 
Holden McNeil in Chasing Amy just the way he interacts with other people, the way he has not afraid to stand up for his beliefs, and the way he just falls in love it is so romantic. :sigh:
 
Leonardo DiCaprio hands down, and in just about every movie! :thud: In his early stuff, he's romantic and has that boyish charm. Now that he's all grown up...he's ALL GROWN UP! :lol:

Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black, he gets me ever time. Seriously, the scene in the pool house! :thud: Enough said.

Does Colin Firth as Mr Darcy in the 1995 BBC Pride & Prejudice count? Because I swooned into a puddle onto the floor, he was so gorgeous. His gaze! And that sexy, sexy voice. :drool:

George Clooney and Brad Pitt in Ocean's Eleven were rather sexy also, I can't wait for Ocean's Twelve! Actually, just Brad Pitt in general, in any of his movies, except for maybe in Snatch and Kalifornia. Honestly, Brad Pitt is just teh sex. :lol:
 
Taye Diggs is so hot. :D. Amazing to look at but also very talented and professional, to boot!

I agreed with the choice of Johnny Depp in Chocolat. Love that movie!

I also have to add:

Viggo Mortensen in Lord of the Rings. Aragorn is the ultimate romantic hero. Similar to Indiana Jones, he makes looking dirty sexy.

Unusual choices, on my part:

Paul Bettany in Master & Commander: He made being smart incredibly sexy, IMO. The best part of the movie.

David Bowie in Labyrinth: He looks creepy as hell but there's still *something* there between him and Jennifer Connelly in that film.

Kevin Costner in Bull Durham and The Untouchables: Now I look at him and wonder what in hell I saw in him, but back then I thought he was so sexy.

Ryan Gosling, In the Notebook he was a kinda roughneck from the wrong side of the tracks yet sensitive and passioniate.

Orlando Bloom, In LOTR he was soft spoken yet had authority and unbelieveable courage and skill.

Tobey Maguire, (I know a lot of people are gonna think im crazy for that one, LOL). In the spider-man series he is struggling with being an outcast and superhero at the same time. I find him brooding yet heroic.

Brandon Lee, The Crow. Sweet yet vengeful but for the right reasons

Leonardo Dicaprio, Both WS R+J and Titanic. Just a wonderful romantic lead.
 
We have the same taste. I love Stephen Dorff in both of those movies. He played a really sexy role as a vampire in Blade.

and if I was kidnapped by him in Earthly Possessions, I would most defiantly fall for him.



Another movie I think plays a hott role is Ryan Phillippe's character Sebastian in Cruel Intentions. You know you should be hating his character since he uses girls and such but then you just fall in love with his character and plus he becomes a good guy at the end :D
 
Christopher Atkins in The Pirate Movie. He was looking really good in that movie!

Colin Farrell in Tigerland, American Outlaws and S.W.A.T. He was just so good in each of those roles, despite how different each one was. And, gotta love a man in a cowboy hat. :D

Jared Leto in Urban Legend and Highway. UL was the first movie I had ever seen him in where I was knocked out by his performance. Highway was great, too.

Christian Campbell in Trick. He was just so sexy as a shy and awkward guy. Especially when he was playing opposite someone as hot as JP Pitoc. :eyebrows:

Christian Kane in The Crooked E. Man! He was just so drop-dead gorgeous in that movie!

Stephen Dorff in Blade, Cold Creek Manor, Space Truckers, FearDotCom, Deuces Wild and Earthly Possessions. Those are the only movies he's been in that I have seen, but I loved him in every single one of them. In fact, he was the only reason I watched FearDotCVom. I didn't liek the story, but I did enjoy seeing him.

Jake Gyllenhaal in Donnie Darko and Highway. DD was the movie that brought him to my attention. I didn't know who he was until that movie, and since then... Wow! I watched Highway just because he was in it, and found Jared Leto in it as well. Two sexy leads for the price of one!

Brad Renfro in Apt Pupil (I know, I know... He was only seventeen, but still...) and Happy Campers. He was so great as an evil character in AP.

Nick Stahl in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. :drool: He was just so amazing in that movie. I now want to check out some of his other movies as well.

I am sure that there are others I just can't think of at the moment, but if I do think of more, I will be back. :D
 
Omg, I totally agree! Viggo is so hot as Aragorn in the LOTR movies! And whoever mentioned Orlando Bloom as Legolas, also a sexy movie lead! And Orlando also smoldered in POTC!

Um...I think, he's not really Movie lead status yet, but I think the sexiest movie lead is CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY! He's just fo friggin' hot!

And Jude Law is a hot movie lead too! I can't wait to see him in Alfie, although it looks like he smoldered!

Ryan Phillippe, especially in Cruel Intentions, HOT! And Leonardo DiCaprio in The Man in the Iron Mask, I was loving the long hair!
