Hi. Ive purchased one boxed Kicker 12" solo-baric subwoofer. im very confused as to what amp to buy to best suit it... plus how many channels etc.?? Also do i need the save some of the amps watts for the interiors speakers or will they run off the current cars battery?
Thanks, any help would be much appricated.

i'd recommend you get a mono block amp (1channel) at 400w. As of for the door speakers if you put another amp it won't run off the battery as long as you put at least a 1.5 farad cap. or ur door speakers can just run off the car battery.

for just one sub you should get a mono block amp that means only one channel for your other speakers if you want them to sound nice over the bass you get a 4 channel amp depending on how many mid range speakers you got ...not sure which model you got but i suggest that you get a kicker amp for the sub, so it could be good match
