Sequels that were really bad.

Basic Instinct 2.
Final Destination 3.
Pirates Of The Carribean 2 and 3.
Psycho 3 and 4 (Psycho 2's not exactly brilliant either).
Rambo 3.
Rocky IV onwarRAB.
Hellraiser 2 and 3.
Ocean's 12 (though Ocean's 13 was a return to form).
Beneath The Planet Of The Apes (plus Conquest and Battle).
 
I'd have said Candyman 2. It threw away most of what was good about the first film, and added some silly bloodline stuff that doesn't belong. In addition, it had some terrible cinematography. Next time you watch it, try to count the "mirror shots".

It's all the more painful because Candyman 1 is one of my favourite horror films.
 
American Graffeti 2

Loved the original, but the sequel, although it had some good scenes of telling what happened to the characters next, slid into the ridiculous at time, was very disappointed
 
Probably all of the Nightmare on Elm Street sequels when compared to the first film.

Also Robocop 2, which completely forgot about all the ingredients that made the original the revered classic that it is today.
 
:eek: Ghostbusters 2 was even better than the first 1, brilliant film.

The American Pie Spin oRAB are all terrible and give the first (awesome) 3 a bad name.
 
The Ring two..thought gana be slightly scary/least have a plot but no just get the annoying 'Racheeel' all the way through then random attacking deer

Mummy 3-No Rachel should've just left it.Can see why she didnt wana be in it just pretty much crap!

most recent were terminator salvation and transformers 2.
just sad stuff.

and yea matrix 2-3 was a massive let down on scale that most others can't touch. the theater on opening day had high expectations, you could feel the energy. when people walked out it was a solemn affair.

the later superman flicks were bad, the most recent remake was also poor.
