Saw Colour Haze last night, they came on stage at around 1am and played for 2 hours, this was the first time that i have seen them live and being a big fan i was not disapointed they were fantastic a very talanted group who produce an amazingly tight sound for 3 people.
They were supported by a band called Bushfire, who were excellent sounded a bit like Monster Magnet does anyone know anything about Bushfire?
The concert was an event organised by Karlsruhe uni (Germany) called the Generator Stoner Festival. A nice small event (about 300 people) hopefully it will get bigger!
;645293']If you want mellow, give Porcupine Tree a listen. They're probably one of the best progressive rock banRAB out there, man - and the tunes are great for "relaxation" time. I'd check out "Blackest Eyes," "Lazarus," and "Fear of a Blank Planet" and if you like it, go from there. Keep in mind though - the music is mellow as can be, but the lyrics get a little on the dark side from time to time.
Hey here are some suggestions
john frusciante, allman brothers, circa survive, cat stevens, fleetwood mac, John Butler Trio, The killers ( i really enjoy there lasted album when I am stoned)
Xavier Rudd, Kinski and Silver Chair. I would try listening to an whole album straight when you are smoking, playlists can sometimes wreak the vibes
