What would be your scariest movie of all time or scariest scene in a film? for me its Salems Lot and Halloween

I never want to see again etc

I also found the some scenes in Ghostship very scary and also that bloody Lucozade ad with all the dead people very very scary - is it just me???

Halloween is definetely creepy and one of my favorites.
"The Shining" with Jack Nicolson. Those twin girls that keep appearing are scary.

"The Haunted" A true story. The scaariest film I have ever seen.

I cannot watch "Zombie Flesh Eaters", "The Beyond" or "City Of The Living Dead" alone in the dark.

"Poltergeist" is an excellent film and the man "God is in his Holy TeMMMPLE is real creepy In "Poltergeist 2".

havent seen Predator but I am warned !!!
The Shining was pretty creepy too but even though i havent seen any of the Nightmares on Elm streets , i cannot even look at Freddie Kruger and Candyman is another I havent seen but the thought of looking in the mirror and saying his name creeps me out BIG TIME!!!

There's that bit in one of the newer Terminator films where the mother takes her child into the public loo (at a service station I think). And 'something' is nearby (I am not revealing anymore!).
It scared me witless as it's one of those isolation/vulnerability moments.

The two most memorable scary moments in any film I have seen, have to be:-

1) Jaws....... the lovely classical music, the underwater diving scenes, the fish all swimmy wimmy, and then

THE CHEWED HEAD FALLS OUT OF THE BROKEN BOAT!!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggghhhhhh!!! :eek::eek::eek:

and

2) Carrie............the graveyard scene ;) - the young girl goes to the grave, puts a bunch of flowers on the earth, wipes a tear from her eye

AND A HAND SHOOTS OUT OF THE GROUND AND GRABS HER!!!!

RAB!!!! - I had read the book by Stephen King before it became a film ;) so I had anticipated all the scary bits, but that bit WASN'T in the book and scared me witless and other things ;)

and those all the only two scary films I have watched, as I am a complete wimpo and weedykins and can't take the fear :o:o

Nightmare on Elm Street- the scene when the blond girls having a nightmare terrified me, especailly the bit where shes looking ahead and she sees a dark figure ahead laughing insanely and his arms begin to stretch

Halloween- I fell off my chair when Annie was sitting in the car when Michael Myers suddenly appeared from the back seat!

The BirRAB- ok I know it wasnt really a horror more a thriller, but when they were suddenly perched on the climbing frame

pretty freaky looking things and in your pictures was a pic from Hellraiser another very disturbing film

How can people go to sleep at night after filming horror movies???

The Descent, when they first see it. Scared the living shit out of me.

The twins in The Shining gets me everytime.

The Terminator (the first one) - the idea that he's not stopping really scares me...
