Scariest Movie or moment

That reminRAB me of some more:

Protect and Survive - "If anyone dies, move the body to another room" and "When you hear the air attack warning you and your family must take cover immediately".

American Werewolf In London - The various nightmares, specifically the killer hiding behind the curtain.

And miscellaneous Charley Says type broadcasts of the 70s and 80s :D

And while I think about it, just about every scene in Salem's Lot, and most of Twin Peaks :D .

This may sound pathetic..... but theres a bit in the film Signs with Mel Gibson in where the alien comes out during a b'day party. It wasnt scary as such, but it just freaked me out.
And the ring where the girl comes out of the tv, that was freaky.

I was gonna say both of those!
I was taken to see one of the Jaws films when i was under the care and protection of my older cousin - can't remember which one but it wasn't the first - but it was one of the first films in 3D and surround sound - I spent most of the film hiding behind the seat in front (never quite lived that one down!)

I have to say in my defence that I found the Shining to be the least scary scariest film - when Jack Nicholson was hacking through the door with the axe, I was killing myself laughing :o

1/The bit on wrong turn where the girl gets her head chopped in half and you only see her eyes.

2/The first time I ever saw Gladiator when they are re-enacting the battle Zama, it was the 'what could happen next' factor.
