Saw

Oh my God that movie was pure sh*t. Please, don't see that movie. So, so, so, SO bad. Rob Zombie needs to die.

But anyway.. SAW looks good to me. I can't wait to see it. :wiggle:

I saw this movie a couple weeks ago and i thought it would be scarier. but it was just messed up. some sick mind thought of this movie in my opinion and i loved it.

{{sigh sadly}}

I am aware...:)

Every review I've read has compared this movie to other movies and I've just been too lazy to look them up.

You would not do well in Hollywood, my friend ;)

Everything is described as something else (because everyone in the biz is as clueless and cultureless as the guy or gal next to them, but no one wants to admit it ;)).

Life Boat is an Alfred Hitchcock film about survivors of a ship wreck who manage to escape in a life boat... And one of them is a murderer.

Showtime did a Sci-Fi retelling a few years ago with Ron Silver under the same name, except the life boat is now a "Life Pod" floating is space after the ship Ron Silver and his fellow astronauts mysteriously gets destroyed... And of course, one of the astronauts is to blame and why he did it is the mystery.

This movie was really good from the beginning to the end. I haven't seen a movie this good in a long time. Plus the end wasn't predictable to any of the people I saw it with (all of us being the film geeks we are) We all assumed that it was the work of the orderly working on his own. Either way it was a good movie I will be reccomending it to everyone.

Just watched the trailer last night and thought it was awesome lookin. I cant wait until Fall to see it.

I already knew I was going to be scared as hell in this movie but after reading this review...I'm actually dreading it.

"Date: 25 January 2004
Summary: A movie that is fantastic because it is difficult to bear.

"Saw" is a fantastic film. Not just for the brilliant cinematography, the thrilling, well written and disturbing plot. Not just for smashing editing and amazing use of sound and music to create the ultimate height of suspense. It is a fantastic film mainly because I hated to watch it and yet could not look away. "Saw" brought on feelings of horror, intense intrigue and at points near physical nausea. At times I was unsure whether I could make it through the rest of the film, as I watched ten to fifteen percent of the audience actually walk out during the showing. However, I was relieved to hear the gasps of dread and groans of horror from other audience members as they blended in with my own. "Saw" is truly the most vile and disturbing film that I can say I have ever personally viewed. The only possible comparison is if "Seven" had actually graphically shown the killings and all the other insinuated gruesome carnage. "Saw" is absolutely a film that I can say I loved to hate."

I agree there, I like Cary in alot of movies, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Liar, Liar, Princess Bride, but it just didn't seem believable in parts, he wasn't convince. then in others he was.

i am downright scared of this movie , even from just watching the trailer. i have only heard good things about this movie, it even got good reviews from the Sundance screening. I cant wait to see it when it finally comes out on September 17th (hmm..is that the right date? )

From watching the trailer it made me wonder how far would you go to keep your life? Does anyone have any ideas what they would do for their own survival?
I just hope that i would never be put in that position.

anyways, some pics, decided not to put some of the creepier ones, 'cause i myself would get sick and naseous looking at it. :P

Our two kidnapped men.

I seriously don't think I could handle this movie. I like scary movies and it sounds really cool, but all the blood and the freaky pig-things...I'd probably have a heart attack.

oh man....the pig is really creeping me out! I would like to find out how the pig would be played in the movie.

This movie was absolutely amazing! This was one of the most inventive films I've seen in a great while. From the pulse pounding plot twists to the thought provoking ending. The only thing I had a problem with was Carry Elwes', at times, hilarious acting job. But overall I thought it was a great movie.

what you see is what you get.......i'll have to pass on this one.....i don't do well with films that have to do with cutting.....
