Samsung u340 No more... Now u350 & u430 Lets fully Flash them ppl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I got it after my last post and IT WORKS :)

Interestingly, it does in fact have the same MD5...

I assume that this particular dll *miust* be installed with the msi dll installer, unlike most others that can just be copied into the Models folder. Interesting... and THANK YOU again :)

You'll Need
QPST
Samsung PST (not Lite)
U350 DLL

First thing is first, I'm using the prepaid phones.
Secondly I do not activate them on verizon's network

Ok Open up Samsung PST
Click the u350 DLL
Go to the PRL Tab
Write PRL (I use 1042)

Go to the Settings tab

Check:
Security_Grouping
MMS_Parameter_Table
WAP2_Browser_Requirements
IS-95/1x DATA

Click Read from Phone

When Data is Read
Click on the Security_Grouping

Find "Service Programming Code"
Change it to 000000 (6 "0's")

Click MMS_Parameter_Table
Change MMSC Server Name
To "http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms"

Click WAP2_Browser_Requirements
Change Proxy LXLPort
To 443
Change HTTP Auth. Password P
to "cricket"
Change HTTP Auth. Password S

Change Domain Server Primary

Change Home URL
to "http://wap.cricket.motricity.com"

Click IS-95/1x DATA

Change QNC_ENABLED
to "Disable"

Write to Phone

When Writing is done close SPST
And Open QPST

The Phone will show up on QPST as Unknown
Pick that and it will ask you to select a base model
Choose
"SURF6100-ZRF6155" at the very bottom

On Settings tab

Click "Read from Phone"
SPC is "000000" (We changed that in SPST)

On M.IP Tab

Change Mobile IP Behavior
to "Simple IP Only"

Select profile 0 and click edit
Set NAI and Tethered NAI
to Phone #@mycricket
Change MN-AAA SPI
to 0
Click OK

On PPP Config TAB

UM:

AN:

Write to Phone (Ignore Phone Model Change Message and Phone no longer detected on Comport Message)

Close QPST when done.

This is where I'd normally *228 the phone it was purchased.

Then Open Samsung PST
U350 DLL again

Check:

WAP2_Browser_Requirements

Read from Phone

Click WAP2_Browser_Requirements

Can you help me find the samsung pst link. THe only download I can find is the lite version. When I connect the phone it says "the port cannot be opened.. CAn someone give me the link and/or help me with this problem...Thanks

Wow.. So did Walmart pull this Model Already? I went there today to get my 2, and the lady told me they pulled this model? Anyone else? This was a great phone for $20.

The MSL code on most Verizon phones is 000000 but on prepaid ones it varies. You need the full version of Samsung PST for the easy way to find that nuraber, or you can search for the hard method to find it. As far as posting Samsung PST, that is against forum rules. I have only ever found it one time and it was a 3 part download. Good luck.

Hint: Google samsung, pst and "part 2" all together and you might find it.

use the right dll and the right PST and thats it, i alwasy make it a point to do a OTA then go into the phone via PST and edit the settings that way. done deal.

That might be another solution (although I think that version is just a Lite, and I'll need the full version for my purposes). Also, I think I did try a later Lite version yesterday with the same bad result, although it might have been 003 or 005 rather than 004.

To be clear, it DOES work with SPST full version 1.0.002 as long as the u350 DLL is installed using its msi installer rather than just copying the DLL into the Models folder. That is, the u350 DLL alone won't install properly without the u350 msi. Now, on to the fun part ;)

I'm having issues with the u350 dll for SamsungPST. Whenever it's in the Models folder, SamsungPST reports "can't find DLL file" and then fails to load the u350 model and any other models that follow alphabetically (models before sch-u350 all load fine). I even tried hex-editing the u350 dll (path at end of file) but I still can't get it to load (same symptoms).

Can anyone here verify that I have the correct u350 DLL? Here's the info for the original (non-edited) copy I've got (identical copy from 2 different sources, so far):

Filename: SamsungPST_SCHU350.dll
Size: 4.80 rab
MD5 Checksum: a8ac8bda15713a3306ae8d255e8b6f76

Can someone please please please please email me the samsung u350 msi ???

My email is carpenter.mathew (at) gmail (dot) com

I will pay for it if necessary..

Thanks

What I like to do with these is Set NAM 1 for Cricket and Leave NAM 2 Verizon Prepaid so if I leave my service area I can switch to NAM 2

everything seems correct...You will probably have to uninstall everything including any dlls that you have installed , and reinstall it all. Not sure if you are using the msi installer or not, but I have the dll with msi installer if you want to give that a try first. shoot me a pm if you need it.

I went to one store, got like 8 phones by myself, the lady didn't care at all. Now nothing at all. I'll see I have a few more store to check out.
