Running 1 Kicker Solo X 10?

Thinking about running one Kicker Solo X 10 in my 03 Dodge Neon... What will I need to do to run such a sub? Want to run maybe a Kicker zx2500 or any suggestions on an amp... Have a yellow top optima and will be running 0 gauge wire... What else do I need to do? Will the sub still hit if I dont feed it 2500? maybe closer to 2000?
