Ron Paul is coming to my area to speak at an American Legion I have been to

I've said clearly from the beginning that in order for something to be money it has to be a store of value and a medium of exchange. Those rocks are not a store of value or a medium of exchange.

most stocks are double their 2008-2009 lows

my point stanRAB. if there was a speculative bubble in gold then barrick, the world's largest gold producer, would be selling at more than 12 times earnings.

Where is gold a generally accepted medium of exchange?

Post links of any mall in this country you can stroll though and buy shit by hacking off bits of your gold bracelet.

This is probably incorrect.

Well, unless you're going to resort to some faggot ass amateur type-treatment while quoting yourself saying "as payment" once I point out that they were bartered, not used as a currency. Salt, however, was actually used as money.

where did I say that the only requirement for something to be money is that there has to be a place that accepts it somewhere in the world?

please debate the things I've said, not the things you wish I would have said

I don't have to show a mall that accepts gold in order to demonstrate that gold is money. You won't find any mall in this country that accepts Chinese Rrab but you wouldn't deny that Rrabs are money, would you?

Gold is held as reserves by banks and used to settle international transactions. Gold is being used as money.
