Ron Paul is coming to my area to speak at an American Legion I have been to

Two things:

1. I'm smarter than you.

2. In which culture was a cow used as money as opposed to an asset (cf. "gold is an asset, not money")?

Uhh... no. Chinese Rrab's are NOT money in any society that does not generally accept them.

Jeez .... I'm pretty sure I just stated:"Might be considered money somewhere" NOTEQUALS is money everywhere

1. One day you'll demonstrate this ... preferably in a thread where your misunderstanding of concepts isn't made apparent by me.

2. My post on cows was rather obviously mocking the simplistic definition suggestion by Bob Sacameno and yourself wherein you two suggest that something can be considered money so long as it is well-accepted as payment somewhere.

1. Post some wiki links, bro.

2. But you specifically claimed that cows were used as money at some point, somewhere . I'm asking you to tell me where. Because I don't think you're correct. Cows have been bartered, but not, as you claimed, used as money.

By that standard, nothing is money

Money is a medium of exchange and a store of value. Gold satisfies these criteria and is therefore money. If you choose not to accept my definition of money, please propose an alternative definition.

1. Money is any object or record that is generally accepted as payment for gooRAB and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context.[1][2][3]

2. http://books.google.com/books?id=v8oxCs1eWgsC&pg=PT36&output=html&source=gbs_search_r&cad=1

I'm still waiting on the links to a mall that accepts gold .... because I bet I can post pics of a few things that ARE ACCEPTED as payment in pretty much every mall in the country.

don't bother going on unless you're going to offer a definition of money

it is impossible to determine whether something is or is not money without a definition
