rockford fosgate sub instead of alpine?

I'd go with the RF subwoofer, due to the fact that RF puts every product through a 24-hour torture test where they play the product at near distortion for 24-hours and if it works they'll ship it out, if not they'll strip it down and start from scratch. Alpine's are good, but they're novice, I've owned a few. Plus, if you buy an amp and sub from the same company you will be better of b/c the products work the best when they are made by the same manufacturer.

So right now i have a rockford fosgate P1000 amp. I have a matching digital capacitor and then for my subs i have two 12' alpine type r's. I have the two subs wired down to 1 ohm and its pretty easy to blow the type r's because they are rated 500 rms a piece and the rockford amp is like 1458 rms on the birthsheet. the two 12's together then equal 1000 rms. The rockford amp has blown a few type r's, i have a warnte so i can always buy more. I want a 15' rockford dual two ohm rockford fosgate T2, and i would wire that down to 1 ohm also. I was wondering if that would be a better match with the P1000 amp. thanks guys
