i have two rockford fosgate p3 subs both are dvc 4ohm with a 500watt rms i am running them at 1ohm so my question is do i need an amp that is 500watt rms at 1ohm or 1000watt rms at 1ohm?
and if it is 1000watt rms at 1ohm would it be bad to run these subs to a hifonics brutus brz1200.1d amp? or would the 1200watt rms be bad on the subs.
some additional info i am running these subs in a sealed box with 1.3 cu. ft per sub and that is the cubic feet subtracting the volume of displacement of the sub. i am also running 4gauge wire. and have changed my grounds to my engine block and chassis to 4gauge and have changed the wire from my alternator to my battery to 4gauge.
sorry for making it so long just trying to make sure ive included everything so i can get some help with this.
thank you for your time and help, Cory
