I have wired a harley before..it was pretty simple. internal rectifier, no blinkers, no idiot lights, no bs. just a striped down bobber. Now I want to strip down a kawasaki 454. This thing is wired like a mainframe computer "i.c. ignition?" well, my simpler question is about relays. why do you need them. not talking about switches or buttons or fuses, not blinker relays, there are just "relay boxes" that seem to serve no purpose. anyone familiar with this bike enough to tell me what I can toss and what I have to hand on to? thanks!!
