Remake You Would Like To See

Yeah, a full The Crow do over will be a difficult one for the fan base to accept. We'll see how that goes.

If Robert Englund wants to do it, there would be no better choice. He is Freddy.

It's crazy.

Some of those are the best kinds of movies... Even if for nothing more than a good laugh, I.E. The Chinese Kung Fu films and Japanese Godzilla movies to name a few ;)

On a serious note... Sometimes I can't watch a non-English film in its native language because I don't want to read an entire novel when I sit down to watch it.

I would rather have a few words that don't match the movements of an actor's mouth and get the gyst of what is going on instead of a word-for-word translation is what I am saying. Hmm...

^ Very true. There are many school-related shootings that a remake of BR might leave a bad taste on everyone's mouth.

A lot of people (or should I say a lot of teens) are pulling for Zac Efron because he kind of looks like the manga/anime Light - with his hair cut and everything. Also someone who looks like Light is that guy from Gossip Girl but he's just pretty to look at. But if ever they'll remake this I hope they'd go for an unknown. I don't think Efron is capable to be a two-faced murderer.

Was Dragon Ball really bad?

A remake of To Kill a Mockingbird is also good, but I'm sure people can't help compare whoever will be Atticus Finch to Gregory Peck. :)

Yeah, remakes are usually a disappointment. But sometimes they are better than the original. In my opinion, Ocean's Eleven and Charlie and the chocolate factory are better than the original.

I don't know, maybe it's me but I really liked the remake of Sabrina. :) I still prefer the original though, but the remake isn't bad and the casting is good. :)

Hmm, which we could probably do without, to be honest! I haven't seen any of the sequels yet, but I heard they were a bit...rubbish.

imo......the only thing worse than a remake.....is a movie that's dubbed.........

Nooo I LOVE Clue. Please don't touch it.

I don't think there's a movie that I want remade. Remakes usually fail. Not all remakes, but.. a majority.

NOOO!!! I can't believe they are remaking The Crow. I will not be rushing out to see that. I am a huge fan of Brandon Lee so this is terrible news. I can't believe this crap. It won't be that very good in my opinion.

I personally am getting sick seeing remakes. I have seen that have been good, but as not as good as the originals, while others have been downright terrible to watch.

I agree - its the remake generation indeed. When will all this madness stop?

I prefer not to see anymore remakes but that is the hollywood way. I don't find some remakes bad, however, what gets me the most is how they would take a R-rated movie and remake it into a PG-13 movie. Those are the worst.

I don't think they should remake Battle Royale cause you wouldn't believe the controvesy, especially when it comes to school-aged kids and their parents.
I have seen the movie and after Columbine, nobody would touch that movie.

Yes! I would love that. Harryhausen was the master of stop motion photography, but I would really love to see what today's CGI could do with the Kraken, Pegasus, Medussa etc...

The original was great. I can just imagine the jets and the sharks dancing in the streets and singing Maria. But I would hate to see a remake.

The Italian Job wasn't a bad remake. I kinda liked it compared to the 70's version.

So true, it's insane how many movies are being greenlit and announced as getting remade in the near future.

Vicki, the story I read was here. I can't really form an opinion as I haven't seen the original yet, but it should be interesting, at least.

Point of No Return is a remake of La Femme Nikita. Le Femme Nikita is way better. I do like the american version of Three men and a baby more than the french version.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Guys and Dolls.

UnsilentMajority, I totally agree. The sad thing is that dumbing down isn't necessary to attract a younger audience. A movie like Say Anything went across all age groups. There should be more original movies like that.
