I was looking around on ebay and i found a JL Audio 12w6v2 subwoofer that is cheaper than the rest, but it was refurbished. Doesn't refurbished usually means that it was returned for a certain reason and then the item gets revised for any problems and then is made perfectly functional again? Would there still be a chance of flaws after it has been revised by the seller or whoever? Due to the sub costing around 300 dollars, I don't exactly want something that is gonna blow out on me within the first few hours of use. I am only planning to get one subwoofer, by the way, and hooking it up to a JL Audio 500/1v2 amp. What are the advantages and disadvantages to a refurbished item like the subwoofer?
