This film sounds really good. I like Rachel McAdams and I've seen a couple of Cillian's films. This should be interesting.

Oh, it's a Wes Craven film.

Hmm...I just checked out the info on IMDb and I'm not sure they'll be ready for an August release. I mean, they don't even have a poster image or much data other than a tag line.

Still, it does look interesting...

Do we have a thread for this?

Release Date: August 19, 2005

Okay, so who's excited for this one?? I for one, am shocked that I started this thread, cuz of how I HATE Horror movies! LOL! :D But I saw the teaser trailer for it yesterday, and you can bet it caught my attention.

Here's the Plotline.

Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) hates to fly, but the terror that awaits her on the night flight to Miami has nothing to do with a fear of flying. Moments after takeoff, Lisa's charming seat-mate, Jackson (Cillian Murphy), menacingly reveals the real reason he's on board: He is an operative in a plot to kill a rich and powerful businessman... and Lisa is the key to its success. If she refuses to cooperate, her own father will be killed by an assassin awaiting a call from Jackson. Trapped within the confines of a jet at 30,000 feet, Lisa has nowhere to run and no way to summon help without endangering her father, her fellow passengers and her own life. As the miles tick by, Lisa knows she is running out of time as she desperately looks for a way to thwart her ruthless captor and stop a terrible murder.

I don't know why but this picture cracks me up  . I've seen a lot of red carpet pics of Cillian and he seldom smiled and usually looked bored in them. But seeing him smile like that is just adorable and yet somehow funny. :sigh: It's like he literally said 'cheese.'

ETA: credit to rachelmcadams.org for the pic ;)

Having Jackson kiss her in that scene would have made the movie even more cliched since he would just be another... [sp]sadistic rapist[/sp] ...and of course, that is part of her character arc of not wanting to be the victim again. I bet you he did kiss or lick her in the original script, but that probably seemed like overkill considering he already head-butted and slammed her against the wall when they were seated earlier.

Just seen this movie last week and I liked it alot. I thought Rachel was great in the role. My favorite part has to be when she starts fighting back.

Seriously it was, I was so waiting for a kiss and then him saying " screw it, I dont want to kill you and your father anymore, lets make out instead"

I'm going tomorrow too. I'm super excited. I seriously can't wait to see this movie.

Man, this movie looks awesome. I have to say the trailer totally got me, I fell for it. I was watching it thinking that it was just another romantic comedy, rolling my eyes to my friend, predicting the ending, then BAM it pulls that out of the hat. I can't wait to see this movie.

Plus, I love Rachel McAdams, so I would have been there anyway, just now I'm actually excited for the movie. Hee.

I saw this movie with Jen (rainstorm18) it was pretty good, I liked the acting and the scenes between those two. I can see that he wanted her, I mean what guy wouldnt :P

I think I'll be checking this out, mainly for Cillian Murphy though. It looks like it'll pretty interesting.
