Red Eye is a good, edge-of-your-seat, end-of-summer movie.
Rachel did an outstanding job and you could see the shift in her personality from helpless victim to heroine during the last act. Parts of it were a little unbelieveable... Namely who they were going to kill and how... But for the most part, it was very enjoyable and very suspenseful. Wes Craven knows how to fill up 86 minutes worth of thrills and characterization.
What I noticed is Rachel sported a more old-fashioned, '50s look... Think Gene Harlow/Ava Gardner... Even though it is set in present day. I don't know if that was on purpose, or if Rachel just has a more classic look to her than most actresses her age (she's not even rail thin a little busty speaking of old-fashioned body types), but it was something that stood out and was a pleasant change of pace.
