recommended air volume for 10'' sub box?

i dont have any info on my subs, lost the pamplet that came with them. i'm building a new box and i dont know how big i should make it. so my question is what is the average recommended air volume for a ten inch sub?
 
Measure the distance from the top of the basket to the center of the cone.Gently push the cone down until it bottoms out.From this you can calcuate the volune of a cylinder(PieX diameterX depth.)
