recommend a metal head some classic/baroque

There's a lot out there man.

Bizet- Carmen Suite: Les Toreadors is probably one you've SORTA heard before, but it's a bit upbeat and very dynamic (if you have any sort of good home stereo/car stereo/good headphones you'll see what I mean).

Wagner- Ride of the Valkyries, enough said.

Tchaikovsky- 1812 Overture, really long, but worth it in the end (cannons are shot along with the orchestra, it's pretty cool)

I'm sure there's some other people who could steer you in a decent direction as I've only recently started listening to more classical than I used to (Fur Elise and Brahms Lullaby was about the most I'd heard) but this should help get you started.

I usually try to get myself to listen to more classical music by identifying instruments that I have tremendously enjoyed in the past like the flute. Lately it has been the harpsichord for me. Then just look for composers who published their work before like the year 1900. I never could stand any of the more modern classical music than that.

And yeah! I love the baroque trumpet pieces.
